Happy Halloween! !! Students learned the different Halloween vocabulary and had a small science experiment of making slime! Each one made their own and had the chance to choose their own color. Learning Transportation
Each student has their unique and creative ways. Allowing time for students to use their creativity can encourage them to use their Chinese in fun ways. The students were able to use what they were taught to create something new. This week our theme was transportation.

Role Playing creates motivation and involvement in students to learn.
We believe Role playing is a great method for second language learning. It encourages creative thinking, and allows students to develop and practice the language. Students are able to "communicate, express their feelings, enrich their vocabulary and appraise their existing knowledge in a safe environment where learners are relaxed, creative and inventive. Moon Festival 中秋节
Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节 zhōng qiū jié) is celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar. Each year the festival varies according to our calendar, this year was on October 4th, 2017 and in 2018 will be on September 24th, 2018. Mid-Autumn festival is similar to that of Thanksgiving as it is a time for family gathering. Families get together to celebrate together eating moon cake, telling folk tales, and watching the moon.
