Service Description

This program provides a fun and effective way for students to learn Mandarin Chinese. It is student centered and also use Project Based Learning ( PBL ) , such as using different topic/theme combined with art, music, science and math. We also use a variety of methods to teach the students as each have a different style of learning. Technology, such as online library, our YouTube Channel and Learning box is used to aid students learn Chinese at home. In addition to learning the language, we introduce the Chinese culture so they have the knowledge and appreciation and open their world views. We follow the ACTFL the five “C” of foreign language education. The goal areas (Communication, Culture, Connections, Comparison, Communities) is to stress the application of learning a language beyond the instructional setting.
